Algeria, 1994. Terrorist attacks have ravaged the north of the country for the past two years. S. and Lotfi, two childhood friends, cross the desert in search of Abou Leila, a dangerous terrorist. The pursuit seems absurd since the Sahara has not yet been affected by the wave of attacks. But S., whose mental health is faltering, is convinced that he will find Abou Leila there. Lotfi, on the other hand, has only one idea: to keep S. away from the capital. However, by sinking into the desert, they will face their own violence.
