Sofiane, the son of a former Algerian diplomat, has travelled extensively. Having moved to Lyon to study, he falls victim to an administrative decision and lives under the threat of deportation. In hopes of regularizing his situation, he accepts a job at a Muslim funeral home. Between parties, encounters, and his work, Sofiane embarks on a journey of self-discovery that will lead him to build his own identity and gradually approach adulthood.
