Abu Shadi, 65 years old, divorced, a teacher in Nazareth, is preparing for his daughter’s wedding. In a month, he will be living alone. Shadi, his son, an architect in Rome for years, returns for a few days to help him distribute wedding invitations by hand, as is the Palestinian custom of Wajib. While visiting friends and relatives, the sometimes comic tensions between father and son come to the surface, testing their divergent views on life.
